DearMission VIejo Families,
Currently, at 9:30am the Holy Fire smoke is hanging over Mission Viejo with no wind. The air quality is POOR at the facility with ash lightly covering the deck and water.
Today, Thursday, we will hold practices which are OPTIONAL for each group.
Obviously we have no control over the situation and hopefully the wind will blow it all out by later today. However, we wanted you to know that today’s training – in all groups – is completely optional for your diver. We will not make up these training sessions as this is an “Act of God” but wanted you to have the option to know the conditions at the pool. We will alert you again tomorrow if the conditions are similar. This seems to be dependent on which way the wind blows the smoke.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and encourage you to keep your family safe for those of you living near the fire.
