Mr. and Mrs. Clint Gilliland visited the Marguerite Aquatic Center today along with Dive Committee Chair, Kim Barnes, and Head Coach, Dr. Michele Mitchell. During their visit they were toured by City Manager, Dennis Wilberg and Assistant City Manager, Keith Rattay. The Gilliland’s were instrumental in the construction of the new platform, which bears their name.
“It was wonderful to meet the Gilliland’s today. Their gracious and generous contribution to the sport will pay dividends to generations of young divers to follow,” Mitchell stated. Construction continues on the complex with the Grand Opening slated for Saturday, April 7, 2018.
